Dr Loosen Bernkasteler Lay Riesling Kabinett 2021

Situated directly along the Mosel between the Dr. Loosen estate house and the village of Bernkastel, the “Lay” (an old dialect word for slate) vineyard’s soil is a bit heavier and deeper than in the neighboring villages of Wehlen and Graach. It also has a somewhat gentler slope than the estate’s other vineyards, producing richly textured, assertive wines.
